I am really impressed with the way the blog has encouraged children to write and to share their great work. I know how much they are enjoying it and how much their parents are proud of them. I was one of the luddites who worried about e-safety but once it was explained I was happy to let my school try a blog. Sharon’s words are extremely powerful and show you exactly why the blog is a great tool to use. I would have to disagree on one point and say our school was still pretty good before the blog but agree with her that it has generated excitement and enabled children to enjoy sharig their thoughts and learning. I am now a big fan of the blog!

I have been really impressed with what a powerful tool for promoting writing the Y5 blog has been – I can’t wait to see what happens as this gets rolled out to other classes in our school. I am especially looking forward to following Sharon’s writing career in the future. Keep on blogging Y5 and Mr Sloan. Mr Mackie

I think Sharon made a wonderful article for brainpop. The article must of encouraged people to use blogs, so I think did amazingly well.
